Joining the Community of Faith

Oakmont Presbyterian Church welcomes people who are interested to be a part of this community of faith. Some join as a life-long church member. Others join who want to explore their faith more fully. When an individual, couple or family have experienced some part of the life of this congregation and want to become a part of this community of faith they normally take part in a three-week New Member Gathering on Sunday mornings. During the gathering, people get to know others who are joining the church and they learn more about opportunities to grow and serve. These gatherings were typically held in September, January and May. Please contact the church office (412-828-5770), if you would like to take part in the next New Member Gathering.
