Welcome to the OPC
Music Program Website

Dear Visitor,

Thank you for stopping by the music area of the OPC website. I'd like to take this opportunity to guide you through some of the information you will find here. There are two objectives in the way we use the website:
1.) To provide information to visitors such as yourself about our music ministry.
2.) To provide organizational and developmental tools for those currently involved in our music ministry so that they may more effectively serve.

In order to better assist you in finding what you are looking for, I have provided the following site map for the music pages. Simply hover or click on an area of the site for a description (pop-up message) of what it contains.

At the top of the music home page is a marquee header telling the most recent updates to the site. Below it is a link to publicity for the next performance event. From this page you can access any of the 10 areas of the music department. A listing of the contents of the OPC choral library for choral music enthusiasts. An online (Fickr-based) photo album with links to slideshows displaying most of the OPC music ensembles in action. Information about the OPC pipe organ from the builder, including the stop list. An informational page with links to music newsletter articles and ensemble updates (printed weekly Sept-May). A resource mainly for visitors and prospective members, this page provides information about each of the OPC music ensembles including rehearsal/worship schedules , ensemble descriptions and events they are involved in. OPC instrumentalists can find resources for worship leading on this page, including printable parts for hymn arrangements and corresponding dates for given hymns. Visitors can find selected recordings from recent worship services and performances on this page. CDs and videos may also be ordered from this page. This is a schedule showing worship leader assignements and the music literature they will be presenting in up-coming services. This area of the site is dedicated to our very active handbell program and the events they and their director are participating in . This is an Outlook generated calendar showing rehearsals and events (both worship and performance) for all OPC music ensembles.
